SINGAPOREAN DOCTORS CONCLUDE MAIDEN MEDICAL MISSION TO RWANDA
23 March 2024 - A team of doctors from Singapore concluded a week-long medical mission to Rwanda.
The mission, the first of its kind from Singapore to Rwanda, was the brainchild of the non-governmental organisation, Global Clinic.
The doctors, in collaboration with local surgeons, carried out successful surgeries including for maxillo-facial diseases and Ear, Nose & Throat cases.
The University Teaching Hospital of Butare (CHUB), where the doctors were stationed, praised the team’s “invaluable contribution and dedication to improving healthcare”.
“The expertise shared by the visiting team has greatly benefited our medical students and residents”, said CHUB in a post on X.
