HIGH COMMISSIONER UWIHANGANYE URGES RCA MEMBERS IN BRISBANE TO INVEST IN RWANDA

On Sunday 26th March 2023, High Commissioner Jean de Dieu Uwihanganye joined members of the Rwandan Community Abroad (RCA) in Brisbane, Queensland in a mass walk event that was organised as part of a periodic event dubbed Rwanda Community Sports Day Connect.

After the walk, High Commissioner Uwihanganye held a brief interaction with RCA members in Brisbane during which he briefed participants on recent developments at home.

Appearing as a guest in a live talk show on Hobe Australia, a weekly Kinyarwanda program that airs on Radio 4EB 98.1FM which broadcasts for Brisbane, QLD, High Commissioner Uwihanganye urged members of the Rwandan Community Abroad in Queensland to take advantage of various business and investment opportunities back home.

“Even with a limited capital, you could buy shares in companies listed on Rwanda Stock Exchange, and the shares will generate dividends down the line. That’s a sound investment if you have a limited capital”, High Commissioner Uwihanganye noted.

High Commissioner Uwihanganye expressed the High Commission’s commitment to provide relevant guidance to Rwandans intending to invest back home.
